Faugères Red, Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, 2021 A blend of Syrah, Mourvèdre and Grenache typical of the appellation. The Syrah with its spiciness is the dominant grape while the Mourvèdre brings in some fruits like red cherries and black currants, adding some aroma and tannins while the Grenache contributes with the volume, depth and soft tannicity, a rounded wine that goes with a range of dishes.
